World Cup 2022: J.J Okocha reveals country to watch after World Cup draw

Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, the former captain of the Nigerian Super Eagles, has named the country he will be rooting for at this year’s World Cup.

Following the 2022 World Cup draw on Friday, Okocha singled out Senegal as a team to watch.

The African champions are in Group A, which also includes Qatar, Ecuador, and the Netherlands.

When asked if an African country could finally win the trophy this time, Okocha said yes.

The former PSG and Bolton Wanderers midfielder replied: “We have come a long way. We will see how it goes this year.

When pressed further on which team he will have his eyes on, Okocha replied: “Senegal”.
