Paris Saint-Germain have identified Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah, as the ideal replacement for Lionel Messi.
According to Diario AS [via Fichajes.net], Messi’s future at the Parc des Princes is in serious doubt, with the Argentine potentially leaving at the end of the season.
As a result, the Parisiens are said to be preparing for life without Messi and have identified Salah as a potential replacement.
Messi has not really impressed since he joined PSG from Barcelona last summer.
PSG fans recently booed the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner after their Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires in 2023, and he has yet to agree to a new contract.
The Egyptian captain is said to be enjoying his time at Liverpool, which he joined in 2017 from AS Roma.
However, the former Chelsea and AS Roma star is said to be dissatisfied with Liverpool’s latest contract offer and may be enticed to join PSG.
