Lionel Messi is set to make a sensational return to Barcelona after leaving the Nou Camp for Paris Saint-Germain just months ago.
The 34-year-old ended his 21-year relationship with the Catalan giants last summer after the club was unable to renew its contract due to financial constraints.
According to the Mirror, Barcelona President Joan Laporta sent Lionel a special invitation to the inauguration of the remodeled Nou Camp Stadium.
Laporta has stated that Barcelona will always be Messi’s home and that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will be welcomed whenever he chooses to return.
