Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is reportedly close to signing a three-year contract with Barcelona.
Lewandowski’s contract expires at the end of the season, and he’s been linked with moves to Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
He is one of the most prolific strikers in world football, having scored 340 goals in 369 games for Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski is believed to have already informed Barcelona of his desire to join, with Sport reporting that the Blaugrana will offer Sergino Dest in a part-exchange deal this summer.
However, according to Polish journalist Sebastian Staszewski (via Caught Offside), Barcelona will have to wait until the end of the 2022/23 season to sign him.

According to the report, the Polish international turned down bids from PSG, Manchester City, and Liverpool in favor of a move to the Nou Camp.
Meanwhile, Gerard Romero claims that Xavi Hernandez is interested in Lewandowski, and that the player prefers Barcelona. The Spanish journalist, on the other hand, insists that no deal has yet been struck.
