How Barcelona Could Line up Against Real Madrid in the El Classico Clash on Sunday

Former Munich star Robert Lewandowski is likely to make his first debut for in the El Classico game on Sunday against .

The Catalan giants and Bayern Munich were able to reach an agreement regarding the Poland international, who has been training with his teammates in America, after weeks of negotiations. 

The highly experienced attacker is expected to make his Xavi’s team debut on Sunday when the La Liga team plays the Spanish and European champions in their third summer friendly. 

After missing out the match against Inter Miami due to fitness concerns, Gerard Pique and Ferran Torres will both be hoping to play for the Catalan team. The latter may start in the final third of the field.

Following the team’s 6-0 win over Inter Miami the last time out, Sergio Busquets, Ronald Araujo, Jordi Alba, and Gavi are also likely to start. 

Given the rumors surrounding Frenkie de Jong’s future and the fact that the Dutch international is still heavily associated with a move to , the forward is unlikely to get the start. 

Pablo Torre, a second addition to the team this summer, played the second half against Inter Miami and is in line to make another start for the team. 

In the match against Phil Neville’s team, Raphinha shone on his Barcelona debut, scoring once and dishing out two assists. He may line up alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres in a front three.

Last time out, Andreas Christensen also made his club debut, and Araujo may join the summer signing from in the middle of the defense.
