According to various media reports, FC Barcelona are working tirelessly to bolster their squad ahead of next season’s campaign.
Though it has not been confirmed by the club, Andreas Christensen is set to become a Barcelona player.
Apart from him, the Spanish duo of Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso, Franck Kessie, and Raphinha are also named as likely arrivals at the club.
If the club manages to get all these players, here’s how Xavi could set up his starting XI.
Xavi Hernandez is unlikely to switch back to a 4-3-3 formation, with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen starting in goal.
In defence, Ronald Araujo could be used as a pair with Andreas Christensen while Azpilicueta and Alonso are deployed as full-backs.
In the middle of the park, Sergio Busquets and Pedri Gonzalez could form a triad with Franck Kessie, whose transfer is expected to be completed in a few weeks.
If Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski eventually come, they, alongside Ansu Fati, could become Barca’s next deadly trio.
