Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah says he is waiting to see what Cristiano Ronaldo will give him in the world cup after Messi gave him waist pain.

In a recent interview with Joy Sport’s Owuraku Ampofo, Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah expressed his desire to play against Portugal and Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo following his meeting with Argentina’s Lionel Messi in Paris.

Gideon Mensah, a young defender who played an important role in Ghana’s World Cup qualification process, revealed that Messi gave him waist pains when they met earlier this season, but he’s looking forward to facing Ronaldo in the World Cup.

According to the defender, Messi is someone else, and his sharp turn caused him waist pain not long ago.

Gideon Mensah (born 18 July 1998), on the other hand, is a Ghanaian professional footballer on loan from Red Bull Salzburg who plays as a left defender for Ligue 1 side Bordeaux. He plays for Ghana’s national team.
