It is no longer a secret that Erling Haaland will be leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of this season.
English Champions Manchester City activated his release clause to land one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.
And Haaland has marked his departure from Dortmund by gifting every player and member of the technical staff Rolex watches as a farewell gift.
The Daily Mail reports that the watches were luxury engraved watches which he gave out during the club’s last training session.
Each watch is understood to cost roughly 12,400 euros. Haaland, therefore, used a total of 490,000 euros.
He also gifted members of the backroom staff with Omega watches.
The Norwegian is now headed to Manchester City where it is expected he will pen a five-year deal.
He will become one of the club’s top earners with a figure of 385,000 euros per week.
