Cristiano Ronaldo accomplished yet another feat with his goal for Manchester United in the dramatic Premier League match against Arsenal.
In the Premier League and La Liga, the Portuguese forward became the first player to score 100 goals.
It’s a remarkable achievement for Ronaldo, who continues to perform for his team despite his age.
His goal was also remarkable, as he latched on to a cross from Nemanja Matic and wonderfully connected to cut the deficit in half, with United behind 2-0. Eddie Nketiah and a penalty from Bukayo Saka had put the Gunners in trouble.
Ronaldo made his first appearance for his team since his baby son died on April 18th.
The Portugal international was noticeably absent from United’s lineup for the Liverpool match due to a much-needed compassionate leave.
From 2003 to 2009, when he left for Los Blancos, Ronaldo predominantly played as a winger for Manchester United.
Despite playing largely on the left, Ronaldo scored 83 Premier League goals in his first season.
Ronaldo has somehow managed to emerge as the club’s top scorer in the 2021/22 season since his return to the club in the summer of 2021.
Thierry Henry, Allan Shearer, Sergio Aguero, and Wayne Rooney are among the Premier League legends who have scored 100 goals or more.
