Anas Aremeyaw Rises Again: rushes to the Ghana Ambassador in the United States to ensure that Kwesi Nyantakyi does not go near football.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas, an investigative journalist, has written to ’s Ministry of Sports.

He has written to the Ministry of Sports via the Ghana Ambassador in the United States of America, urging the ex-GFA president to retire from football.

Former FIFA Council member Kwesi Nyantakyi was banned from football and related activities for life by FIFA.

However, the Court of Arbitration for Sports lowered the ban to a 15-year sentence.

Prior to, during, and after Ghana’s key playoff game against , Kwesi, the former GFA President, received some positive coverage in Ghana’s local media for his part in helping Ghana qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

The concerned investigative journalist whose work resulted in Nyantakyi’s suspension was unimpressed with how the former GFA president’s name continues to dominate football discussions in the country.

Anas is said to have written to the Ghanaian ministry of sports via the Ghanaian ambassador to the United States, asking why the Ghanaian ministry of sports has been holding football engagements with the ex-GFA captain.
