All-Star guard James Harden makes his 76ers debut against the Timberwolves.

James Harden’s debut with the Philadelphia 76ers did not disappoint.

When the 76ers traded All-Star guard Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round selections to the Brooklyn Nets for Harden and Paul Millsap at the trade deadline, it seemed like a lifetime ago.

Harden stated in his initial press conference in Philadelphia that it would be “go time” following the All-Star break, and he kept his word, preparing to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

His debut game was a success, as he led the 76ers to a 133-102 victory over the Timberwolves.

James Harden finished the night with 27 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds in 35 minutes of action. The Beard was deadly from the field, shooting 7-for-12 from the field, 5-for-7 from 3-point range, and 8-for-9 from the line.

He was in sync with Joel Embiid, who added 34 points and 10 rebounds to his already impressive season. Tyrese Maxey, who scored 28 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field, saw his game improve as well.

For the rest of the Eastern Conference, Harden’s debut was a terrifying sight.
